How to Have Hard Conversations
I created a series of brief videos (less than 90 seconds each) addressing different topics that can be difficult to know how to bring up in a dating or relationship context, let alone difficult to know how to do in a responsible, kind, and effective way. These were based on questions that I commonly get asked in my work by clients and friends.
This first one is about what you can do if you are interested in working on the health of your relationship and setting goals together, but your spouse doesn’t like doing things like that.
In this video, I address the “situationship” — those times in dating when you quite like the other person and want it to be more serious, but you’re not sure how to bring up that topic!
You love your partner but they are a bad kisser? How can you bring up this up without sounding like a “mean girl”? I offer some advice on addressing this topic.
Should you stay in a relationship if you and your partner don’t seem aligned in your values? Before you consider leaving your partner, try a conversation like this first!
